Were in Rocky and decided to visit the gardens to go bird hunting. The gardens are quite large and you will need a good hour to walk around them properly. Bird lovers paradise and we recorded 42 species in 2 hours. Recommend walking through the large tree section as there are some amazing trees and don't forget the war memorial and Japanese gardens located above the cafe.

Great place to drop in to give the kids a chance to run around. The zoo is nice, and the kids enjoyed seeing the animals. It was under renovation when I dropped in, but it was still worth visiting.

Very beautiful, and they even have a little zoo that you can enter for free, with kangaroos, exotic birds, and chimpanzees! Friendly staff, nice café.

Lots of Resident birds here, including geese and ibises. People were also feeding the resident turtles, adding to the tranquility.
